Merci pour le retour 8)

Concernant le Pro Cyclist, la DB n'est pas du tout adaptée à ce mode. Cela plante constamment

Salut a tous ici de l'Allemagne

I am following this thread for quite a while and thought, maybe I can be helpful in doing research for teams, races, stages etc.

So I found some possibly helpful links for the "DB complète 2018"-team on LeGroupetto :

http://firstcycling.com/team.php?y=2018&d=4 (Worldwide DB for ca 2000 teams, 1000 of them with min. 4 cyclists)

https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/ranki ... ?year=2018 (British Amateur teams by rankings)

http://www.cyclingarchives.com/zoekploegjaar.php (Worldwide DB)

https://www.radsport-news.com/vereine/vereine.htm (Germany, Suisse, Austria, Luxembourg)

http://www.cyclingireland.ie/page/event ... ankings/a1 (+/a2 + /a3 +/a4) (Irish teams)

https://www.road-results.com/?n=results&sn=tpts (US amateur results inkl names & teams)

https://www.cyclingnewzealand.nz/road/trade-teams (New Zealand teams)

https://www.nationalroadseries.com/teams/ (Australia)

http://www.cyclistsguide.co.za/pages/clubs/Clubs.aspx (South Africa)

https://bikesiliconvalley.org/local-bike-clubs/ (USA)

https://bicyclecoalition.org/ride-your-bike/bike-clubs/ (USA 2)

http://utahcycling.com/teams/ (USA 3)

https://legacy.usacycling.org/clubs/ (US clubs by state)

http://www.ontariocycling.org/clubs/?fi ... +Filtering (Canada)

http://saskcycling.ca/wp/23-2/ (Canada 2)

https://cyclingbc.net/clubs/affiliates/ (Canada 3)

I guess, some (most?) of these sites might be known, perhaps not... In total there are tens of thousands teams in al these DBs and they will never be possible to get into the game in decades. SWO if you need help on research, please let me know.

As I am not talented enough for creating jerseys, races & stages I could offer researching for teams, riders info/data etc. This might be a small part of developing the DB Complète 2018 and give a little help to the guys who can do jerseys or graphics. The only part for graphics I can do is to create the transferts_ar and _av. If help is needed there, please let me know aswell in finding the riders for teams incl dates of births etc.

Thanks digga for all those links (I know some of them)

Your help could be very helpful for the transfer_av/ar and also finding some datas.

Please look on the PCM2018 topic for the DB (or on PCM Daily), I'll put during the weekend which datas we missed about birthplace, weight, ...

I will do ;)

Will the DB be useable on PCM17 aswell? Because this thread here is for PCM17 with DB2018, on pcmdaily it is on a thread for PCM18...

Yes, it will be. There is only 4 tables to change (others are the same) between PCM17 and PCM18

Did you have posted it somewhere now? Can't find it here or on PCMdaily yet.

Or send a list of missing transfert_ar/av logos to me via personal message.

This DB is humongous mate.
I thought that I could make correct XML for many races, but this is just too many. Finding info on many of them is impossible. I will try of course and keep searching.
If I can assemble them all in some sort of structure I put them up for you when I have the time.

Then I must ask you....

Is the game really able to handle that many races and teams to play in career-mode. Certain older version had limits all over the place. I know they had team limits of some bit over 200 and more the career would crash. The game is in fact full of restriction inside the DB to be sure. I do hope you run full tests for some years in career mode. Maybe you just using the DB for individual races, then I think the use of national team also can be used as intended in those races we see them pop up (Santos and such). It's a pity Cyanide never think beyond their little world, since they could have had national teams assemble in those races much like during the Worlds. Well they not even care for Continental Championships and those new jerseys either.

One quick look in your DB for Cyanide and they would understood the need to do a serious rewriting of the pgm and address other stuff than messing with such things as Pro-cyclist. Pure arcade stuff and not much to boost the name MANAGER game.

I just had a look at the "missing list". Sorry, but I didn't found a link for weights & sizes... I hope I can find some birthplaces & regions.

Why is triathlete RENZE POSTMA in that database (are there more triathletes in this db?)??

And I do not see any missing transfert_ar/-av in that list...

Which amateur teams are included actually and which teams will be put into the db?

I found a link,
http://www.cyclingarchives.com/ploegen.php -- 5th column, UCI Category "NAT"
where 377 teams of this category (men) are listed for UCI-races for 2018. Is this a source to UltracompleteDB? These teams are:

Most of them are European. But there are only few teams from GBR, Scandinavia, Africa, America (few USA & CAN, not only one from South America), Africa, AUS & Oceania.

There are in addition some African teams e.g.

Club Benediction (Rwanda)
Les Amis Sportifs (Rwanda)
GSP Algerie (Algeria)
Kenyan Riders Safaricom (Kenya)
Team Sampada (South Africa)
Bai Sicasal-Petro de Luanda (Angola)

all participating in Tour de Ruanda 2018, but not listed on cyclingarchives.com.

Races&results from all over the world can be found on https://www.worldcyclingstats.com/en ... for ALL continents!

If needed/ wanted, I can find some more African, Scandinavian or Oceanian Teams.

Thanks for your Help :-)

Worldcyclingstats, PCS, Cyclingarchives, firstcycling, all those websites are sources for the pack

R.Postma is in the DB if :
1 he runs an UCI race since the beginning of the year
2 he belongs to a team which is in the pack

I don’t have the list of missing transfer because I’m focusing on thé database part

I’ll correct the Epronex Rider

Hello, yes we can put more than 200 teams, we have launch career test and Cyanide log file is really helpful for data base maker

For your classification, make those you want/can and I will include them

Yes, if Cyanide take a look, I can see with them some bloclking point (the Sta_Race_Rules, the amateurs teams and national teams)

Who is doing the graphics part? And which teams will need transfert_ar/_av graphics?

I would like to see the African teams I have mentioned in the db, if riders, photos of the clothes or else will be needed for that, please let me know. :heureux:

Alessandro de Amicis is starting for Belgium but is born in Italy (Abruzzo). In that case, which region must be saved for the DB?

Cc. R. Postma: he just took part on Arubian ITT Nat. Championship only in 2017. Is this enough to be in the db?

It is quite difficult to put-in regions for cyclists, when absolutely no region from the DB matches..

In how many regions e.g. is BEL splitted? Why is Luxembourg (region in BEL) not included?? It makes research way harder and makes no sense to me! So I am really loosing motivation, to work on when there are regions not to be found in a logic way!!
So I put Pieter-Jan Vliegen (Corendon) to Luxembourg-Belgique, although this region is obviously not implemented.

And why are e.g. Belarus & Brasil divided in regions?
So I decided, to stop working until there is any explanation, which regions are made for which countries.

By the way: there are some regions in the spreadsheet more than once included. Which of them are the right ones to use?

Currently, no one is doing the transfer av/ar graphic part. Sazee is doing shirt part. All teams needs transfert but some (I don't know which) are currently done.

I would like to see the African teams I have mentioned in the db, if riders, photos of the clothes or else will be needed for that, please let me know. :heureux:

As you said, they run Tour of Rwanda so they will be in the pack. I let you know if we need pictures

Alessandro de Amicis is starting for Belgium but is born in Italy (Abruzzo). In that case, which region must be saved for the DB?

In the case, rider is born outside the country, put the region of the capital, in the case of De Amicis => Bruxelles

Cc. R. Postma: he just took part on Arubian ITT Nat. Championship only in 2017. Is this enough to be in the db?

Yes, for me, the more riders we have, the more complete is the DB

It is quite difficult to put-in regions for cyclists, when absolutely no region from the DB matches..

Luxembourg Region is included and is called Luxembourg, the region in Luxembourg for Luxembourg is called Luxembourg_LUX

And why are e.g. Belarus & Brasil divided in regions?
So I decided, to stop working until there is any explanation, which regions are made for which countries.

Most of the time we use this for regions https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-2

By the way: there are some regions in the spreadsheet more than once included. Which of them are the right ones to use?

I will post in the spreadsheet the region by country if it could help

Yes, the Sta_rules are really idiotic. Some +120 I think instead of included that inside the Sta_race table. So many races have extra very own sets and as you mention the amateur races should have very different. One extra set of class for amateur not given any UCI points at all would have been superb.
Equipment too is a bitch. Restricted very much when so many great creation have done wheels, frames and helmets off all shapes and brands. The old trick to put the teams three letter code inside the frame-name isn't working anymore I think. So they restricted it even more. I do fear they are heading up that arcade alley and not looking at creating a more manager style game. From Football Manager towards FIFA I think.

I'm doing some XML at present and trying to update some. When I'm done I post a plain link for you to DL. Lots of work to put them into the DB then is on you.

Re: [PCM2017] DB complète 2018

I just tried to DL the "old" Ultracomplete DB (the one with around 300 teams) for 2017 from the workshop, but I didn't find it. How is it called there or who is uploader? Or was it deleted for some reason?

And which additional DLCs do I need from pcmdaily or legroupetto to have a fully working DB when the Ultracomplete for PCM17 with 2018 data is ready?
Yet I just have downloaded the 12,9 GB from this forum, what else do I need then?

Tonight I will have a look @ the spreadsheet. If the regions are clarified there I will go on working on the regions.

@Sazee: Do you need any help for transferts for amateur teams that are not ready yet? As I wrote before, I am not smart enough to make jerseys, this might be a small help for you.

Which additional teams are planned and not ready or not started yet?

@Coach: thx for your answer

Bonjour,
